Pauline & Géraud Fromont founded Domaine des Marnes Blanches when they were in their early twenties, fresh out of winemaking school. They purchased land in Cesancey, a town in the Southern Jura. They make a range of wines from oxidised Chardonnays, classic reds from Trousseau and Ploussard and super Créments.
This is a seriously refreshing pet nat . It's 100% Chardonnay, with most of the blend from the 2018 harvest, and is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. It's then left on the lees for 15 months before bottling with no dosage and no SO2. It has plenty of citrus and green apple on the palate with a a nice salty finish.
