Pauline & Géraud Fromont founded Domaine des Marnes Blanches when they were in their early twenties, fresh out of winemaking school. They purchased land in Cesancey, a town in the Southern Jura. They make a range of wines from oxidised Chardonnays, classic reds from Trousseau and Ploussard and super Créments.
En Quartre Vis is sourced from a few different parcels, some being old vines, planted on a combination of marl and limestone. Eaxch parcel is vinified separately in neutral barrels then blended together in stainless steel tank before bottling with minimal added sulfur. It's big and powerful with plenty of ageability.
