A very modern winery operating in the historical wine region of Ribera Del Duero, this is Bodegas Arrocal’s tribute to their village of Gumiel de Mercado, a cuvee that utilises the three core grape varieties grown there: Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), Garnacha, and Abillo, a white grape with low acid. Let it be known that this is not a typical red wine from the region, but it is a unique treat and an absolute delight to drink. Light-to-medium bodied with summer strawberries, blueberries, dark chocolate, oak, and just a suggestion of rosewater on the palate, all kept in check by enough acid to keep the flavours from getting too flabby.
