"This wine needs few words. It is a certified organic, fruit-driven Garnacha that comes across as cheerful and light-hearted. It is not a wine that convinces with great complexity or encourages reflection. Instead, it brings the joy of life into the glass without being clumsy" - Master of Wine/WineTuber Konstantin Baum
From an Irishman by the name of Ray O'Connor, in Cariñena, Spain, comes this light-on-its feet organic Garnacha. Hailing from the high-altitude vineyards of Urbezo--an ideal location for organic viticulure, as the cooler nights naturally deter pests and disease--the wine smells of ripe cherries, blackberries and liquorice. It is rich and intense on the palate, with supple tannins, moderate acidity and an invigorating finish. Works well chilled.
