Cataldi Madonna are one of the best champions this excellent Abruzzo variety, and have become a real experts in how to get the most from it. The vines are farmed organically and the wines are excellent; clean and characterful, designed to give lots of pleasure.
On the nose this is green apple and lemon rind, and mineral notes. The palate is
refreshing with lime and grapefruit, a nice textured mouthfeel and a long, lively and intense finish.
Food pairing: pairs well with fresh salads, seafood or herb-roasted chicken. A Greek salad
with feta and lots of fresh veggies or a retro prawn cocktail would really hit the spot.
