Château Musar is a legendary Lebanese winery in the Bekaa Valley, renowned for producing distinct, age-worthy natural wines with minimal intervention.
This infamous Lebanese red blend is an equal assemblage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan. Each varietal was fermented with natural yeasts and aged for 12 months in French oak prior to blending in 2019. This wine is deep ruby in colour and high viscosity. It's packed with red cherries, plums, fig and hints of Eastern spice. On the palate there is kirsch, plums, blackcurrant and chocolate. Tannins are velvety soft and the finish is long and concentrated. This wine tends to leave a deposit so decanting is recommended.
