This wine is produced from a blend of equal parts of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Trévallon’s red wines are matured for over two years, the wine is fined with fresh egg whites and isn’t filtered before bottling.
The nose is intense, opening out with aromas of morello cherries and raspberry, as well as notes of cocoa. After decanting, the wine starts to reveal spiced notes (pepper, cinnamon). The palate is direct, with the same aromas as on the nose. Tannins are silky and refined, with a nice fresh finish.
