The 2023 Bourgogne Aligote, coming from vines in Chassagne next to the village, has a lifted nose with beeswax, red apple scents, and a slight oiliness/lanolin tincture. The palate is well-balanced with pleasing fatness and weight. What it lacks in tension, it compensates with purity and easy-drinking quality.
