Another gem from the stable of Envinate. A blend of Mencía, the famed grape of the Bierzo region, and some Alicante Bouschet from 70 year-old vines at 430 metres elevation. Made in the old traditional way with the grapes being foot-stomped and fermented in a small open vat. Tiny quantities made and this has an impressive cult following. Medium to full bodied.
