Filipa Pato is one of Bairrada's best loved biodynamic producers and for good reason. She champions native grapes and the beautiful terroir of a region that is only recently receiving international attention.
Made froma blend of Arinto and Bical grapes, the wine is a brilliant straw colour with a greenish hint. The nose bursts with citrussy notes alongside green apple and hints of pear. Herbal notes of rosemary and thyme and perhaps a hint of mandarin and quince. The palate is creamy and refined with a gentle smoothness and a hint of minerality. A fruit driven mid palate that has a dry aftertaste and a refreshing, lingering acidity.
