Gabriele makes pure, authentic and delicious wine using traditional Piedmont varieties and methods and strives to communicate his terroir in every wine he makes.
"Tutto dipende da dove vuoi andare" translates to "it all depends where you want to go". This is a 50/50 blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera, two grapes that work perfectly in tandem. The Nebbiolo brings structure, freshness and tannin with its signature high-toned perfume aromas and flavours. The Barbera really puts meat on the bones, with juicy, rich fruit and ample comforting warmth and body.
The wine has been aged in French oak for 24 months, adding style, finesse and complexity. A few more years in bottle have really brought this wine to a great place, so it offers maximum enjoyment right now.
This is a truly gastronomic wine, terrific with food (particularly regional Northern Italian fare) but its balance of freshness and body means it's hugely versatile.
