Beautiful blend from the 2022 harvest: 50% Chardonnay, 40% Meunier, and 10% Pinot Noir.
This wine is meant to express the true identity of the Sélèque house, with grapes sourced from all of their owned terroirs: Pierry, Moussy, Epernay, Mardeuil, Dizy, Boursault, and Vertus. The soil is primarily clay, with some presence of flint and limestone, while the subsoil is predominantly chalk at various depths.
The wine is aged for 10 months in both stainless steel tanks (60%) and oak barrels (40%) on its fine lees, without any fining or filtration. 50% of the blend is a perpetual reserve wine, also aged in steel tanks and oak barrels.
