On the nose, sweet floral aromas (aided by 20% Botrytis-affected grapes) of blossom, jasmine and fresh acacia honey, followed by thyme, peach, juicy pear, and elderflower lemonade.
On the palate it is crisp and well structured, creamy and mineral, with aromas on the nose carrying on into the flavour profile. The high acidity blends coherently with the off-dry sweetness caused by noble rot. A very long, full, juicy and fruity finish.
Fermented in stainless steel, aged 7mths sur lie. Twenty-percent of grapes affected by botrytis. The blend consists of various clones of Riesling.
