Named for the cherry tree, a fruit long cultivated by the family of the winemakers, and the qualities of which fruit is present in this wine, Lo Cirerer is a red wine aged for 6 months in French oak barrels and 6 months in stainless steel tanks. It's a blend based on the Grenache Noir and Grenache Peluda varieties, with some Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot added for good measure.
The first thing that stands out with this wine is how charming it is. Bright red fruits (cherry, strawberry, raspberry) with bramble fruit undertones, fine dried herbs, and spice. Medium-bodied with easy tannins. This is a lot of fun, and a little too easy to drink.
