From an estate in Premeaux-Prisse that’s been in production since the 18th century, this is a Pinot Noir of great complexity, with flavours of red and black berries mingling with more serious gamey notes. Bertrand Ambroise and son Francois have been working organically now for a number of years, keeping grape yields low and picking at full ripeness to produce full-bodied, powerful reds that age spectacularly.
