Founded in 1906, Nervi is the oldest producer in Gattinara. Today, the house is owned by Roberto Conterno – the man behind some of Piedmont’s most iconic Barolos. Under his leadership, Nervi Gattinara has achieved a new precision and balance, where Nebbiolo emerges with rare clarity and elegance.
This wine shows an intense nose with aromas of roses, wild cherries with hints of mineral and leather notes. On the palate it is balanced and elegant with silky tannins and notes of red fruit carrying through the long persistent finish.
