An excellent valued Champagne made exclusively from Grand Cru Classe of Bouzy, one of the 17 villages thus classified at the very top of the Champagnes quality hierarchy.
A blend of Bouzy wines made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay grape varieties, the cuvée is aged in French oak barrels for a few months, then bottled to be lowered into deep cellars for optimal ageing.
A brilliant golden colour, the nose as on the palate: a broad palette of red berries such as wild strawberry or blueberry or Burlat cherry, followed by hints of citrus from lychee to candied mirabelle plum ending on lightly woody and vanilla Italian bergamot.
Delicious on its own or pairs beautifully with food such as sea bass, oysters, white meats and truffled mushroom risotto. Perfect with a citrus tart.
