Aphros is perfectly situated on exceptional soil and gently sloping south-facing hillsides within the Vinhao Verde area. The sun exposure is ideal and is balanced with the cooling Atlantic breezes. This combination produces wines with lovely acidity and minerality.
Maresia is 11% alcohol. 100% Loureiro, but malolactic isn’t blocked. Powerful and intense with lovely structure and bold, pithy citrus fruit as well as some apple and melon richness. Real flavour intensity with a touch of sour cherry and some saltiness on the finish.
